Providing the services a birth doula would provide prenatally like educational and emotional support, vision and value clarification and more without the labor support. A great fit for someone wanting support with provider selection, learning about evidence-based practices, listening to their intuition, unpacking fears, clarifying their birth plan and setting up postpartum support. I can also refer you to other local practitioners when there’s a need for support outside of my scope like pelvic floor physical therapy, prenatal/postpartum body work, counseling, etc.

Helping ease the transition of caring for your newborn so you can rest, bond with your baby and not worry about running a household. Providing emotional support, assistance with household chores and errands and guidance with basic infant care and feeding. Tailored to your family’s evolving needs so every visit will begin with a check-in on how you and your baby are doing, how your partner and family are doing and any concerns you may have. Based on our check-in, I’ll provide assistance with whatever feels most helpful. My services may include tending to your baby while you take time for yourself, running errands, doing laundry, providing a listening ear, dishwashing, assisting with breast or bottle feeding, preparing meals, providing referrals and playing with your other child(ren).
